Broadway Show - Phantom of the Opera

This is the first time in my life seeing this show. No words could describe how I feel now. How can you imagine a person grew up in Taiwan and has lived there for 25 years could end up one day in one of the Broadway theaters?! Just by think of that, I already feel like it is a miracle. This Broadway show trip is rather pleasant. This event is promoted by ISSO, and people who bought the ticket through this event should meet up in front of Earl Hall on Campus before setting off to the theater. So I went to the place to gather with some other students who also took part in and then we took Subway train down to the theater. Honestly, I was kind of not feeling comfortable before seeing those students in front of Earl Hall. But things turned about to be just fine and actually quite interesting. There were all international students, the group leader was a Brazillian, and the rest of us are from India, Taiwan, Philippines, Argentina, South Korea and Ukraine. I found that I like international students more than Americans; Of course, it depends, and we will find out. Anyways, I set off at 7pm and soon after nice little chat with each other we stood in front of the crowds before theater. People in Time Square on that day were not as much as expected (much less). There was only excitement filling my chest when we rushing into the theater. Yes, another first-time in New York. One of the amazing things is that the show has been on and on for over 20 years, and it is still lots (maybe mostly tourists) to come to see the show. The show is a classic one like my American neighbor said. I really like some of music sung in that musical. And of course, the show is not just about music; the casts, stage design and light setting and sound effects, all in all had made this performance wonderful. I have never seen such a wonderful show in Taiwan. But I suppose there are similar shows in London. Now I think I like musicals even more than Orchistra or simply a movie. So I must admit, Broadway show is one of the few things I like about New York.
