Well well well...
I was back in New York 2 weeks ago, but it is until now I am writing this article to say I am back. Life in NZ is so peaceful, so simple, so pure; there is nothing like New York. I really enjoyed the simplicity of New Zealand and all the joy I had back then.
I remember when I just got off plane and walked out of JFK, all I felt was uncomfortable hot temperature and impatience and anxiety among the crowds of people around me. I also felt hostility from some black people who might be thinking how to get money (by any possible way) from this new comer.
During 2 hours of dragging my luggage from JFK to upper west Manhattan, I saw the familiar New York again. Until then I realized this is the place you will be living in again for another 6 months or more whether you like it or not.
But thankfully, I have many friends here. And I will definitely make new friends in the time to come.
