Life starts in New York. First you need to get to a place to live.
To me, that place is Flushing, where many asians reside in as well.
I temporarily live in a relative's house. I call him uncle Nick. He is my grand father's sister's son. He is a nice guy and teaches me lots of need-to-know in New York. Most interestingly, he seems to know "HISTORY" very well and gives me quite a few nice history lessons in the first few days of my stay. His history lessons somehow helped me to understand America and the world further.
One thing worth mentioning here is that I live in the basement of their house. This is the first time of my life to live in a basement. I guess there is still going to be lots of first-time in New York.
Although at the beginning, I felt the light is too dim and cell phone as well as internet wireless signal are not strong enough down in the basement.
Strangely , I somehow start getting used to them now. After living down under for almost two weeks, I feel cozy now. Ironic huh? I guess humans are animal of habit. Once you get used to something, problems and complaints fade away.
