On August 6th, I arrived at JFK international Airport of New York. This is my first time in this airport, first time in New York.
JFK international airport has about 8 or 9 terminals. I arrived at 7th terminal. Although this airport is supposed to be large, I did not feel it anyway. After claiming my baggage I went right though to the exit, no scan or inquiries so far about my luggages at all (weird huh?). The facilities in the airport looked quite old, not giving you an impression of COOL like what American pop culture or movie represents. And everything is just as simple as it seemed.
Anyway, I am in New York.
Riding on a vehicle on a highway, nothing really catches my attentions. It is so probably because I have been lived in New Zealand for quite a while and most things here in New York look quite similar to those in NZ. Well, at least I can say that the architecture and building style is not so special and somehow ugly. In addition, you can EASILY see trashes and garbages on the streets.
Okay, so the first impression about New York is UGLY!
But hey! You are in New York. You have not seen it all!!!
